2021 Honda Accord Engine Performance
Depending on which of the 6 trim models you choose, you have 2 engines and a hybrid version. Standard trim provide turbocharged 1.5 L VTEC engine with 192 horses and 192 lb-ft of torque. However, more powerful is turbocharged 2.0 L VTEC engine with 252 horses and 273 lb-ft of torque. Therefore, engine work at 1,500 and 4,000 rpm and thanks to company Eco Assist system give better efficiently.
Only the sport trim model has a 6-speed manual gearbox. Everyone else uses Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with Sport Mode. Also, only the Touring model has 10-Speed Automatic Transmission with Shift-By-Wire (SWB) and Paddle Shifters. The base model consumes 33 mpg in average while the hybrid model consumes about 48 mpg.
