The British company today introduced the 2021 Land Rover Discovery Sport along with the Evoque Hybrid model. It is the first Discovery introduced with a uni-body structure. It’s also a luxury SUV that will use the same hybrid powertrain. In addition to it, the same petrol and diesel engines remain in this year edition. Discovery is a bit heavier, though, so it will have more fuel consumption, but it’s still great compared to the competition.
So the hybrid combination is the same with a maximum of 310 horses and 540 N/m of torque. The electric motor mounted on the rear axle gives 110 horses. The 3-cylinder gasoline delivers about 200 horses. Power sufficient for maximum speed up to 135 km/h. Power transmission do the same eight-speed automatic transmission. Factory measurements show a fuel consumption of 1.61 liters per 100 kilometers. After that, CO2 emission is 36 g/km. In addition, electric range is about 66 kilometers.
