2021 Honda Odyssey Redesign, Hybrid, Release Date, and Price. The popular minivan is among the best models in the class and that is definitely for a good reason. It delivers a pretty amazing level of comfort, along with an impressive list of standard features, along with pretty good efficiency. It also looks quite attractive, which is not a surprise, considering that the current generation has been for just about two years. However, that doesn’t mean that the 2021 Honda Odyssey is about to come without changes.
Latest reports are suggesting that the Japanese manufacturer is preparing a mid-cycle refresh. It may sound a little bit early to year, but the fact is that this crossover run is treatment even to this segment, especially if we consider that three-row crossovers are getting more numerous these days.
2021 Honda Odyssey Engine
We don’t expect changes under the hood for this update. Therefore, count on a familiar 3.5-liter V6 engine, which delivers around 280 horsepower and comes in a pair with a 9-speed automatic transmission. A 10-speed automatic gearbox is also available. Fuel economy is pretty much typical for the class. You can count on something like 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Still, rivals like Chrysler Pacifica and Toyota Sienna are slightly better in this aspect.
Exterior
The potential update should include a fine amount of changes and, naturally, most of them will be in terms of aesthetics. We could see some visual modifications and, of course, most of them would come to the front end, where we expect to see tweaks to areas like headlights, grille, bumper etc.
Still, the overall shape will definitely remain the same, with a typical minivan look. Also, this update could bring those typical changes, such as new color options, sets of wheels and similar things.
On the other side, the mechanical aspect of the 2021 Honda Odyssey is about to remain untouched.
Interior
When it comes to the interior design, we could see a couple of tweaks, but things will generally remain pretty much the same. This makes perfect sense, considering that the current model features one of the finest cabins in the class.
The overall layout is typical for the class. A common minivan cabin comes with seating capacity for eight people and all seats are characterized by plenty of space and great comfort. Also, you will definitely like its dashboard, which looks pretty attractive, and also features great built quality. Moreover, you will find fine material through the whole cabin. All in all, this cabin already looks more luxurious compared to rivals, so it would be too much to expect bigger changes in the 2021 Honda Odyssey.
Another point where this minivan is quite strong is cargo capacity, as you can count on 39 cubic feet behind rear seats. The total cargo volume goes up to impressive 158 cubic feet and there aren’t many vehicles on the market that can match these numbers.
Features
This update could also bring novelties in terms of standard equipment. Still, keep in mind that the current model already stands pretty good here. All models come with things like a seven-speaker sound system, Bluetooth, hands-free text messaging, and two USB ports. In higher trims, you can also get things like an 8-inch touch screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, satellite radio, navigation, a rear-seat Blu-ray entertainment system, a Wi-Fi hot spot and many more.
In terms of safety, the famous Honda Sensing is not standard but is available. This package includes things like pre-collision braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, road departure warning, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control.

2021 Honda Odyssey Release Date and Price
