2022 Hyundai Tarlac: Specs, Price, Photos, & News. The latest images of 2022 Hyundai Tarlac reveals an excellent crafted body-on-frame pickup truck that will go on sale later next year. As you may know, the upcoming Tarlac is not the company’s first pickup truck, because Santa Cruz has been finally announced that it is arriving next year in Europe.
At first look, the new Tarlac will definitively use the recognizable Hyundai’s design language. We have got some of the rendering images and here’s what we know about this model so far.
2022 Hyundai Tarlac Engine Specs
The engine of the upcoming 2022 Hyundai Tarlac is still a mystery. From many reports, the new Tarlac pickup will deploy some of the company’s existing drivers.
Probably, it will use the potent 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. Expect this mill to use an eight-speed automatic transmission. Optionally, there are many candidates and the first one is 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that also powers the famous Genesis GV80 SUV. This engine might also use the same eight-speed automatic transmission. If you remember, the GV80 with this unit under its hood produces 375 horses and 391 lb-ft of torque. These units are not yet officially confirmed and we can expect more news soon.
2022 Hyundai Tarlac Exterior Structuring
The upcoming 2022 Hyundai Tarlac is the pickup truck that wears the latest Hyundai’s design language. In addition, the new model looks very traditional. The front of this body-on-frame pickup truck has been inspired by the Companys’s popular SUVs Santa Fe and Palisade. The Tarlac hosts LED signature light and a larger cascading grille offering chrome accents around. The split headlights are excellently shaped along with the daytime running lights.
Unlike the Santa Cruz pickup that is built on the unibody architecture, Tarlac looks more attractive on the back. The rear end is stylish, and we can see taller LED taillights and some chrome accents on the bed and bumper. Cab configurations and the trim levels information is not yet available.
Cabin Rumors
There is no available information about the interior right now. From many rumors, the upcoming 2022 Hyundai Tarlac layout won’t depart from the Hyundai Santa Cruz model. We can expect plenty of similarities. Because this model is not as luxurious as the Santa Cruz model expects pretty basic stuff. Of all, the upcoming pickup will host a clean dashboard that will provide great functionality and durability.
We mostly believe that the Tarlac will also borrow some styling cues from the latest Hyundai’s Santa Fe and Palisade models. Basically, expect plenty of tech inside and roomy cabin that can host five occupants comfortably.
Price and Release Date
The forthcoming 2022 Hyundai Tarlac looks strong from the first renderings. This body-on-frame pickup truck, according to some gossip, may be introduced later in 2020. At the same time, we can expect the new Hyundai Santa Cruz model.
Most likely, the sales will start at the beginning of the following year. As for the starting price, the Hyundai Tarlac will be an affordable pickup. The cost of around $25,000 for the base model seems to be the most likely outcome.
